The Broker — The Short Version
Tab Trade launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background tells you something. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That would round things out when it lands.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.
Put together that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the thing that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It does be part of your decision.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it is your call.
